Isle of Man Short Break

The island is steeped in motorsport history and best known for the TT races but it also has a rich rallying history and was once home to Peel Engineering, manufacturers of the P50, the world's smallest car.

The Isle of Man Motor Museum is a world class venue with almost 600 vehicles on display including rare and unique cars, motorcycles and scooters. The car collection encompasses examples of steam petrol and electric cars from the dawn of the last century through 1960s family favourites to modern day supercars. They also have TT and Manx Grand Prix winning motorcycles, commercials, military and aquatic vehicles and even flown and unflown spacecraft.

Whilst the island may only be 32.5 miles long by 13.5 miles wide, there are over 500 miles of roads to explore, some of which have no speed limits, including the legendary TT mountain course.

Other attractions on the island include:

  • Transport museums - the Jurby Transport Museum, home to the island's heritage bus fleet, Murray's Motorcycle Museum and the Manx Aviation and Military Museum.
  • Historic sites and museums around the island tell the storied history of the Isle of Man from Vikings in Peel to the Great Laxey Wheel and the medieval Castle Rushen in Castletown.
  • Heritage Transport including steam railways, the Snaefell Mountain Railway and electric and horse drawn trams.

We are able to source accommodation with Hotels/B&B's and create a package including your ferry crossing too.
