The island is steeped in motorsport history and best known for the TT races but it also has a rich rallying history and was once home to Peel Engineering, manufacturers of the P50, the world's smallest car.
The Isle of Man Motor Museum is a world class venue with almost 600 vehicles on display including rare and unique cars, motorcycles and scooters. The car collection encompasses examples of steam petrol and electric cars from the dawn of the last century through 1960s family favourites to modern day supercars. They also have TT and Manx Grand Prix winning motorcycles, commercials, military and aquatic vehicles and even flown and unflown spacecraft.
Whilst the island may only be 32.5 miles long by 13.5 miles wide, there are over 500 miles of roads to explore, some of which have no speed limits, including the legendary TT mountain course.
